Now that my apartment has some furniture I went into to the cities (Eskilstuna and Västerås) and bought the more decorative stuff. See below for the result of the last weekend!

It feels very good to create an own home like this. It gives a lot of rest too.. I slept well and woke up easily :)
I just need a few more things. A nightstand, a bed lamp and a table cloth. And a juicer and a kettle, which are very hard to find.

I can tell you, “student empty” will not last for long.. somehow all my cupboards were filled with an abundance of stuff only a few months after I moved : )
As you can tell from my replys, I haven’t had too much time to read yet, but I’m catching up fast, luckily. I really enjoy reading your blog, cultures and interesting (different) points of view are always nice. I think you’ll enjoy this movie I found recently, about (among other things) the interaction of people with something they never faced before: hamburgers!

Interesting view of the hamburger indeed. At first I agreed with this post on bright:

But that also is a view from my culture-glasses.. Hard to put them off.
